Period Six is a dream of Monica's all based on taking a ceramics class in the 11th grade as her 6th period elective.

Over the years Period Six Designs has involved from T-shirts to Tumblers but the one thing that has been consistent over the years is our love for glitter and crafting.

In 2020, we decided to make the change from being a maker of finished products to also providing crafting supplies.

We have worked hard sourcing the best products at the best prices that can be used for all of your crafting needs.

We only sell PET glitter!  

• PET is polyester glitter that is made of a polyester fabric type of film.  Our PET glitter is very pigmented and safe for UV exposure without risk of losing it vibrancy.  No, this is not the same stuff being sold at your local craft store.
• Our glitter is made to fit all your needs from tumblers, to resin pours, to DIYs.  Our glitter can even be used in nail designs and cosmetic products. 
• Yes, our glitter is cosmetic safe, solvent resistant and non-toxic.  

 

What is being sold at all the craft stores?

• The craft stores are selling craft glitter.  Craft glitter could be made with a variety of things including metal - ouch!
• When combined with different mediums such as solvents, the dye in the glitter can disperse, effectively dulling the glitter and removing the color. 
• Craft glitter is essentially indoor glitter to be used on products that probably shouldn't see the light of day.
